- The Board meets quarterly, usually in June, September, December and March.
- The Chapter meetings take place during Chapter education meetings three times a year, usually in March, May and September.
- The National Educational Conferences are usually held in October.

About the Board
GPC-ARN President-Elect
This position is a three-year commitment: one year as President-Elect, the
next year as President, and the third year as past President. The responsibilities include presiding at all the meetings of Board and the
Chapter, and submitting an annual report the National during your presidential year. The chapter supports the President-Elect attending the National ARN Leadership Conference and Educational Conference, which in 2005 will be held in Palm Springs, California. The Chapter also supports the President attending the National Educational Conference, which in 2006 will be held in Chicago. The position of President-Elect serves as a training ground for the office of President. You will become familiar with a leadership role through mentoring and sharing of your responsibilities with the president and past president.
GPC-ARN Secretary
This position is a two-year commitment. The responsibilities include recording minutes of all meetings of the Board and the Chapter, maintaining chapter records, and distributing notices and agendas. The secretary also routinely checks the Chapter post office box.
GPC-ARN Treasurer
This position is a two-year commitment. The responsibilities include keeping records of all income and expenditures, maintaining all bank accounts and investments, depositing and disbursing funds and keeping the membership informed as to the Chapter's financial status. This position comes with the added bonus of funding for a Quicken Course, if you are unfamiliar with Quicken.
GPC-ARN Board of Directors
This position is a two-year commitment. The responsibilities include participating in the management and decision-making on behalf of an for the benefit of the chapter, and helping to implement decisions of the Board.
